Online Safety
Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Version 2026.08.31
Swingable is a user-to-user service for adults, operated from the United Kingdom by Entity Promotions LTD (NI721452). This page explains, in plain English, what we do to keep the service safe, what we expect from you, and how to get something dealt with. It sits alongside our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Report anything
Every post, comment, photo, video, message and profile can be reported in two taps.
People review it
Trained moderators handle reports. Serious cases are prioritised and acted on quickly.
You can appeal
If we get it wrong, a different moderator reviews the decision.
Who can use Swingable
Swingable is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. Accounts require a declared date of birth, and before you can access member-facing features you must complete a photo verification: a photo of yourself holding a handwritten sign showing your username and today's date, reviewed by our team. We use this check both to confirm you are a real person behind the profile and as part of our age assurance.
We apply a Challenge 25 approach: if the person in the photo appears to be under 25, or our reviewer is not confident about their age, we require a government-issued identity document before verification can be approved. ID images are used only to make that decision and are deleted once it has been made. Where we have separate grounds to doubt someone's age after verification, we can require a further identity check and remove accounts we believe belong to under-18s.
We are candid about the limits of this: our verification is a human review process, not a certified age-estimation technology, and we have not been certified by Ofcom or any other regulator to provide age assurance — we cooperate with Ofcom as the online safety regulator (see "Your legal rights" below).
Illegal content
We operate a proportionate system to find, assess and remove illegal content, covering in particular:
- Child sexual abuse material — removed, preserved, account terminated, and reported to the National Crime Agency where the statutory duty applies
- Non-consensual intimate images, including sexual deepfakes of real people
- Threats, extortion and sextortion
- Controlling or coercive behaviour, stalking and harassment
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation and any content involving coercion
- Encouraging or assisting serious self-harm
- Fraud and financial scams
Reports in these categories are escalated ahead of the normal queue.
How reporting works
- Tap the flag or "Report" option on the content or profile.
- Choose the closest reason and add any detail that helps us understand it.
- The report goes into our moderation queue, scored for urgency.
- A moderator reviews it and takes action — removal, restriction, suspension or ban — or explains why no action was taken.
- You can follow progress in My Reports.
Reports are confidential. We do not tell the reported person who reported them. Deliberately false or malicious reporting is itself a breach of the Guidelines.
Tools you control
- Block — stops all contact and hides you from that account
- Mute — quietly removes someone's content from your view
- Message privacy — limit who can start a conversation with you
- Vault consent — where you are tagged as an identifiable registered member in an upload, it cannot proceed to moderation until you approve it, and a decline deletes it for everyone
- Profile visibility — control who can find and see your profile and media
- Pause or delete — take a break, or remove your account entirely, from Settings (this does not pause payment collection on an active subscription — see our Refund Policy)
Live streaming & messages
Live streaming is currently operated only by our admin team for official broadcasts; ordinary members cannot start their own live stream on Swingable.
We do not routinely browse private messages. Staff review a conversation when it has been reported to us, or where we are otherwise required to by law.
Automated risk signals help our moderation team prioritise what to look at, but permanent account enforcement — restriction, shadow-restriction, suspension or ban — is always a decision made by a human moderator.
Live Chat
Live Chat is a realtime member room and is separate from private direct messages. You normally see only what is said after you join your current session — there is no member-accessible transcript, history or search of earlier room messages. Recent text is kept temporarily for operational safety and abuse reporting, currently around 15 minutes, and expires automatically unless it is preserved for a report or another legitimate safety or legal purpose.
Camera and microphone are optional and off by default. Swingable does not record Live Chat camera or microphone by default and does not turn them into on-demand video. Where media is enabled, camera and microphone are carried directly between members’ devices (peer‑to‑peer); no third‑party media provider carries, processes or stores that audio and video, and Swingable itself carries only the brief technical handshake needed to set the connection up. We can disable camera or microphone across the platform, or cap how many cameras a member can watch at once, for safety, capacity or technical reasons.
You must not broadcast or record another identifiable person without consent, share someone else’s private information, harass, facilitate paid sexual services, or post illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, synthetic or deepfake intimate imagery, or child sexual abuse material. Our controls include message cooldowns, rate limiting, removal from the room, temporary or permanent chat bans, disabling camera and microphone, closing the room, blocking, and preserving report evidence. Staff do not have a general chat transcript browser; preserved evidence is accessed only where a moderation, safety or legal case authorises it.
Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was restricted, suspended or banned, you can appeal within thirty (30) days by emailing Admin@swingable.co.uk with your username, what was actioned, and why you think it was wrong. A moderator who was not involved in the original decision reviews it. We aim to acknowledge within three (3) business days and to decide within fourteen (14) days. People who report content can also appeal a decision not to act.
Data-protection complaints
If your complaint is about how we handle your personal data rather than a content or account decision, email Admin@swingable.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge data-protection complaints within thirty (30) days. If you remain unhappy with our response, you can escalate to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We do not currently offer a self-service data export tool; to request a copy of your data, contact us using the address above.
Your legal rights
Our safety commitments in the Terms of Service and these duties are contractual. Under section 72(1) of the Online Safety Act 2023, if we fail to apply our stated terms about content and reporting, you may have a claim for breach of contract. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
We cooperate with Ofcom as the online safety regulator and publish periodic transparency information on reports received, actions taken and appeal outcomes.
